Late power play goal pushes Blackhawks past Senators

A late power play goal by Richard Panik pushed the Blackhawks past the Senators, 2-1, on Thursday night in Ottawa.

Scott Darling, who was starting in place of Corey Crawford who Joel Quenneville said after the game was a bit under the weather, made 33 saves in his first game back from a two-week absence due to injury.

After a scoreless first two periods, Duncan Keith opened the scoring in the third with a goal from the blue line. Keith's shot was stopped by Senators goalie Mike Condon but bounced off a defender's skate and trickled in.
