Keith one-timer lifts Blackhawks past Detroit, 4-3 in OT

The Blackhawks got out to a quick start in the first period with goals from Brian Campbell and Richard Panik coming 26 seconds apart and seemed ready for an easy night.

That never quite panned out. Chicago grabbed the lead, and failed to hang on, twice against the Red Wings on Tuesday night at the United Center, leading to a contentious third period that ended the way it began — tied.

Detroit took a penalty with time expiring in regulation to set up a power play for the Hawks to start overtime, which turned out to make all the difference.
