Keeping up with former Blackhawks in 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Round 1 recap

There are several former Blackhawks players set to compete in the second round in the playoffs along with local products J.T. Compher of Northbrook (Avalanche) and Ryan Dzingel of Wheaton (Blue Jackets).

Former Chicago Steel defensemen Jamie Oleksiak (Stars) and Jaccob Slavin (Hurricanes) and head coach Dan Muse (Predators assistant) will also be in the playoffs.

Oleksiak (2008-10) and Slavin (10-13) played with the Steel, while Muse coached them to the 2017 Clark Cup championship, the first in the team’s history before leaving for Nashville.
