Jeremy Colliton made his first big coaching change as the Blackhawks head coach by rolling out new lines ahead of the team’s game Monday against the Hurricanes in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The shakeup is a sign Colliton is looking for an offensive spark for his team to snap a seven-game losing streak. Chicago is 0-2 under Colliton, who took over after Joel Quenneville was fired. The Blackhawks allowed the Hurricanes to score four unanswered goals before their comeback fell short in a 4-3 home loss last Thursday then Chicago fell 4-0 to the Flyers on Saturday in Philadelphia.
