The Blackhawks made it to their hub city of Edmonton safely and soundly over the weekend as they prepare for the NHL's Return to Play tournament, and they weren't the only ones that traveled with a healthy roster.
The league revealed Monday that only two players tested positive for COVID-19 during Phase 3 of formal training camps, including zero in the final week where 4,256 tests were administered to more than 800 players. The news was announced hours after MLB had an outbreak with the Miami Marlins, whose 2020 season has been paused.
The NHL feels strongly about the security of its bubble in Edmonton and Toronto, and, if you're following players and team accounts on social media, you can see why.
