Ilya Bryzgalov is looking for an NHL goaltending job, and he believes the Chicago Blackhawks might be the right fit.
The 37-year-old former goaltender took to Twitter to voice his candidacy to be the man between the pipes for Chicago.
The Hawks had to use 36-year-old accountant Scott Foster as an emergency backup goaltender in Thursday’s 6-2 win over the playoff-bound Winnipeg Jets. Foster entered in the third period after Collin Delia, who was making his NHL debut, left with cramps. Delia wasn’t suppose to start until Friday, but was pushed into action after Anton Forsberg suffered a lower-body injury during pregame warmups.
