The Rockford IceHogs signed forward Bryn Chyzyk and goaltender Eric Levine to one-year AHL contracts on Thursday.
Chyzyk, 23, scored a career-high 12 goals with 10 assists in 42 games during his senior season at North Dakota. The 6-foot, 181-pound left-winger was an assistant captain for the national champion Fighting Hawks, and played with Chicago Blackhawks draft picks Luke Johnson and Nick Schmaltz, who have both signed entry-level contracts with the organization this summer.
