IceHogs set Goalie lineup for Postseason; Berube’s season over; Rockford vs Wolves set for First Round

The Chicago Wolves 6-4 win over the IceHogs in Rockford’s regular season home finale on Friday night solidified the two team’s first round fate.

For the first time since 2008, these Interstate 90 rivals will meet in the AHL playoffs.

Rockford and the Wolves faced off in the 2008 West Division finals series in 2008, the IceHogs first season in the American Hockey League after the franchise was transferred from Cincinnati. The Wolves took that series in 7 games and went on to win the Calder Cup in 2008, their last championship.

The Wolves clinched the Central Division on Friday night, while Rockford will finish 4th.
