The NHL rosters are going to look a lot different after Wednesday.
The Vegas Golden Knights will announce their expansion draft picks Wednesday at the NHL awards after submitting their selections to the NHL by 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Vegas and the Chicago Blackhawks reportedly already have a deal in place for the expansion draft involving forward Marcus Kruger and defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk. It’s unclear what the parameters of the deal are, but it appears Kruger and van Riemsdyk will be members of the Golden Knights. One of them will be Vegas’ expansion pick, while the other will be part of a trade.
