With all the line swaps and changes that seem to be taking place between series’, I thought it might be fun to take a look at how or even if time on the ice (TOI) is evolving for the Chicago Blackhawks as the regular season continues to transition into the playoffs.
TOI regular seasonI started by compiling all the per-game time data available on war-on-ice and multiplying that by the number of games a player had started in (The first TTOI column represents that total). I then calculated the players Total Time on Ice they had been eligible for (TTOIE column).
