Here are five things on my mind about the Blackhawks:
1. Artemi Panarin has put himself in striking distance of reaching his performance bonuses again. He’ll hit his Schedule A bonuses, which are mostly team related, and earn $850,000 for them. The more significant one is the Schedule B bonus which is worth $1.725 million. The two most likely ways he can achieve that is by finishing in the top 10 among the league’s forwards in assists or points. With an assist on Saturday, he’s tied for 12th in assists and 11th in points. He’s one assist and one point off from 10th place.
