Scott Foster is back.
The goaltender who made an emergency appearance last March was on the ice during the Blackhawks’ morning skate Thursday at the United Center. Foster will be joining the Blackhawks for additional optional morning skates this season. Foster was not made available to media after practice.
Foster, a 36-year-old accountant at Golub Capital, signed an amateur tryout contract March 28 and was the emergency backup netminder for Collin Delia, who made his debut the next night against the Jets. Anton Forsberg was scheduled to start, but was injured during pregame warmups.
