Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman’s dream came true Tuesday night in Toronto.
The Blackhawks moved up from the No. 12 spot to No. 3 overall during the NHL Draft Lottery. And for Bowman, it didn’t really come as a surprise.

Chicago has drafted at No. 3 overall five times in franchise history: Toews (2006), Cam Barker (2004), Eddie Olczyk (1984), Denis Savard (1980) and Terry Caffery (1966).
