Ted Dent has come to terms with how everything played out with the Blackhawks.
Dent would obviously prefer not to have been fired after 11 years with the organization, including six years as the Rockford IceHogs head coach, but he’s put that all to rest and moved on.
“Nothing but a good experience with Rockford and Chicago,” Dent said on Wednesday. “It’s always going to be a second home to our family, for sure. I think change is good for everyone at times of life. I think this time I needed some change.
“I had dialogue with [the Blackhawks] this summer on and off.
