Here’s a look at how some recent Chicago Blackhawks are faring elsewhere this season:
Bryan Bickell, Carolina Hurricanes, forward, traded 2016 offseason
Bickell, 30, and the Hurricanes were hopeful a change in scenery would jumpstart his play. That hasn’t happened. He has one goal, zero assists, six shots on net and has averaged 9:42 of ice time in seven games. He’s been playing on the fourth line. He played just 5:45 in the Hurricanes’ last game. He is in the final year of his four-year $16 million contract.
Adam Clendening, New York Rangers, defenseman, traded 2014-15 season
Clendening, 24, is on his fourth team since leaving the Blackhawks.
