Former Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Jeff Glass will be joining his hometown Calgary Flames in training camp on a professional tryout contract, he announced on the Bosco podcast.
Glass went 3-7-3 with a 3.36 goals-against average and .898 save percentage in 15 games last season for Chicago. He made his NHL debut at 32 years old in a 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Dec. 29, 2017, with a 42-save performance.
“The journey is going to continue in North America, for now at least,” Glass said. “I’m pretty excited about that opportunity and them giving me a chance to come to camp and kind of prove my stuff, so that’s where my focus has shifted.
