Here are five ways the Blackhawks can gain an advantage in Game 2 against the Nashville Predators on Saturday:
1. Elevate the puck, make better contact and really test Rinne: As much as the Blackhawks have been emphasizing net-front presence and taking away Predators goalie Pekka Rinne’s eyes, they had some quality chances where they could have scored in Game 1. The problem was they hit the puck low or didn’t connect with it perfectly.
On that first point, Blackhawks goalie Scott Darling provided some insight.
“A lot of the good chances we had [were] right along the ice,” Darling said.
