The Blackhawks’ success in the last decade has attracted fans from all over the world.
Henri Jokiharju was 10 years old in Finland when he watched the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in 2010. He immediately became a fan.
Jokiharju, now 18, hopes this weekend he can go from Blackhawks fan to Blackhawks draft pick. Jokiharju is considered one of the top defensemen in the 2017 draft and could be selected as early as the first round. The Blackhawks have the 26th overall pick.
“I would love it if the Blackhawks pick me,” Jokiharju said earlier this week while training in Geneva, Illinois.
