The prosecutor in the sexual assault case against Blackhawks star Patrick Kane held a press conference on Friday morning.
Erie County, New York, district attorney Frank Sedita III opened up the news conference by detailing how the evidence kit in the case "has not been tampered with or compromised" in any from.
Sedita told reporters that the story from the alleged victim's mother about finding an evidence bag on her doorstep was false, and that the mother is behind an "elaborate hoax" involving a fake evidence kit.
