Defensemen Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook will play their 1,000th career NHL game together Tuesday when the Blackhawks visit the Jets in Winnipeg.
Keith and Seabrook will become the seventh duo to accomplish the feat in league history and the first defensive duo to do so.
Seabrook and Keith rank third (1,035) and fourth (1,026), respectively, in most games played in franchise history. Both players are set to move up one spot Blackhawks’ all-time games list this season. Seabrook needs only two games to surpass Bobby Hull (1,036) for second all time and Keith needs 11 games to do so.
