MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. — Zach Parise’s much anticipated season debut may have hit yet another hitch.
After taking part in each of last week’s four practice days, the Wild veteran left the ice at St. Thomas Academy in the middle of Monday’s practice following a hard battle drill.
“I don’t have any update. I saw the same thing you did,” General Manager Chuck Fletcher said. “We’ll see what it means. I don’t want to speculate, but it would have been better if he could have finished the practice. But he didn’t, so we’ll see how he feels.
