Dale Weise's arrival to Chicago is being delayed due to visa issues, reports Chris Hine of the Chicago Tribune.
Weise, 27, was acquired with Tomas Fleischmann from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Phillip Danault and a 2018 second-round pick Friday. Blackhawks general manager said Fleischmann and Christian Ehrhoff, who the Hawks acquired via trade with the Los Angeles Kings for Rob Scuderi, are not experiencing visa issues.
Weise has a career-high 14 goals and 26 points in 56 games with Montreal this season.
