Dale Tallon already knew how he felt about the Blackhawks’ fans.
He was happy to discover they felt the same about him.
Tallon, a former Blackhawks player and executive, was met with loud cheers in the United Center when he stepped to the mic for the Florida Panthers at the NHL draft in June. It was an unexpected, but welcomed sound.
Tallon will always think of Chicago as a home for him. It’s where he still has family and will always have memories.
Tallon will be back in the area again later this week when he takes part in the Chicago Hockey Charity Classic on Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Chicago.
