Tonight was a historic night at the United Center, It was Corey Crawford’s 300th career start and Patrick Kane’s streak would be recognized before the game.

The Chicago Blackhawks started the New Year off on the right foot. The Blackhawks defeated the Ottawa Senators 3-0 in a boring game. Before the game Patrick Kane was presented a gold puck by General Manager Stan Bowman as the Blackhawks honored the 26 game point streak. Bowman then went on and traded Jeremy Morin during the game. The pregame ceremony and the Morin trade might have been the most exciting “plays” during tonight’s game.
