The Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche meet up once again tonight at the United Center. It’s the third time in less than a month that the two Central Division foes will be hooking up. The first time was a blow out with the Avs easily beating the Blackhawks 3-0 and long time nemesis Semyon Varlamov picking up another shut out. In the first game the Blackhawks looked slow and the Av’s looked fast and hungry, and it was the beginning of their move up the standings.
The Chicago Blackhawks went to Colorado on New Year’s Eve and left the Pepsi Center with two points and an overtime victory.
