The Chicago Blackhawks signed Jeff Glass on February 23rd basically to get compliant for the expansion draft, but no one expected Glass to ever get called up to Chicago this season.
A funny thing happened to running out the string in Rockford, Scott Darling got injured in a morning skate and Glass was called up to be the backup to Corey Crawford.
Glass didn’t see any action in Chicago even with the Hawks playing back to back games this week against the Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings.
Glass has been ok with Rockford appearing in 13 games going 5-7-1 with a respectable 2.
