Getting a win against the Arizona Coyotes was great. That win put the Chicago Blackhawks another few points up in the Western Conference standings and got them closer to the wildcard spot. The wild card spot is only three points away, as it is currently held by the Coyotes. However, there is another spot not very far away.
The Minnesota Wild are currently at the bottom of the Central Division standings. They sit at the bottom with 52 points this season. Those 52 points are only four worse than the Blackhawks 56. Now throw in the fact that if the wild win tonight the Blackhawks are two points away from being the worst record in the division.
