Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Another Chicago Blackhawks player decided to stick around instead of try out the greener pastures of the NHL. Trevor van Riemsdyk who looked to be a solid defenseman before becoming injury riddled, signed an extension to stay with the Chicago Blackhawks and looks to be a guaranteed starter come opening night against the New York Rangers on October 7th!
TVR did see some duty late in the playoffs after returning from his second bad injury of the season, and he will get his name put on the Stanley Cup this summer.
