Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! It’s the 2nd to last weekend in August and that means summer is winding down and things are about to start heating up for winter sports. The Chicago Bears have already played in two preseason games somehow going 2-0, and your Chicago Blackhawks are less than 4 weeks away from kicking off training camp on the campus of Notre Dame.
This summer really has gone by quick, and I blame it totally on winning the Stanley Cup in the middle of June. Last year when the Chicago Blackhawks were eliminated in the Western Conference Finals the summer seemed to drag endlessly, but I’m sure it wasn’t helped by the fact the Cubs were loveable losers once again.
