Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Patrick Sharp watch was supposed to end this weekend, but Stan Bowman likes to torture us during the summer, and decided not to pull the trigger on a deal at the NHL draft! Stan has done his best work dealing at the draft so this was a pretty big surprise for all of us seeing #10 still listed on the Chicago Blackhawks roster.
The question about Patrick Sharp is when will the deal take place. The Chicago Blackhawks have to shed a lot of salary cap weight before the start of the 2015-2016 campaign, so it’s hard to tell if a Patrick Sharp trade is next or will Brandon Saad and Marcus Kruger‘s new contracts be next up for the Chicago Blackhawks.
