The Chicago Blackhawks lost last night to the Anaheim Ducks just like they did after their bye week against the Edmonton Oilers. The good thing is that in both games they out shot their opposition, they just couldn’t get any pucks in the net on either night.
The Chicago Blackhawks now travel to Detroit to face a Red Wings team that will be missing the playoffs for the first time since 1990.
Not only will the Red Wings miss the playoffs, but this is the last season for Joe Louis Arena which has been the Red Wings home since 1979.
