The Chicago Blackhawks assistant coaches have always had some winds of change around them year in and year out, especially when you look at who Joel Quenneville is hugging during the three Stanley Cup championships on the bench in the past 6 seasons.
One coach that always seems to be around is Mike Kitchen who has been with Joel Quenneville for a long time from back in their St. Louis Blues days, and yet even Kitchen wasn’t here for the first Cup having signed on as a coach in the summer of 2010. Gail, Our staff writer did a nice piece on Kitchen this summer and you can read it here.
