The Chicago Blackhawks will endure the shortest offseason in the NHL for the third time in six years. With that being said, the first of the Blackhawks’ summer events kicks off this weekend. The Blackhawks will hold prospect camp this weekend at Johnny’s Ice House West. Prospect camp allows fans and the Blackhawks coaching staff an opportunity to look at younger players within the organization.
While some players are well known, others might be foreign to Blackhawks fans. The top prize in the Brandon Saad trade, Marko Dano will be attending his first and likely only Blackhawks prospect game this season.
