The Chicago Blackhawks are making a change to their roster after just two games, as it looks like Nick Seeler will no longer be apart of the Blackhawks. Seeler was added to the roster last season from waivers.
Chicago Blackhawks defensemen Nick Seeler has been placed on unconditional waivers by the ‘Hawks, as reported by Elliotte Friedman yesterday. The decision to not keep Seeler around on the roster should not be too surprising for Blackhawks fans.
Seeler was 27 years old and even though he was not going to be taking up major minutes this season, Chicago has Lucas Carlsson, Wyatt Kalynuk, and Nicolas Beaudin waiting for a chance in the lineup with the Blackhawks.
