Chicago Blackhawks Make A Minor Deal To Finish Out Trade Deadline

The Chicago Blackhawks finished out the NHL trade deadline with a minor move. While reintroducing Johnny Oduya to the Chicago media, a minor move was reported by everyone on Twitter. The Blackhawks traded away AHL forwards Spencer Abbott and Sam Carrick to the Anahiem Ducks for Kenton Helgesen and a seventh round pick in 2019.

Abbott was the points leader with the Rockford IceHogs this season with 15 goals and 20 assists. He also represented the Icehogs at the AHL All-Star game. When the Blackhawks struggling and looking for offense, Abbott was recalled for an audition.
