Even though hockey is still on pause, Brent Seabrook is staying involved in the local community.
In a tweet, the Children First Fund thanked the Blackhawks defenseman for donating 200 laptops to Chicago Public Schools students.
One of the principals of the elementary schools that benefited from Seabrook’s generosity was quoted in the tweet.
“I almost cried! THANK YOU!!” said Principal Randle-Robbins of Mireles Elementary school.
Seabrook is one of the most charitable athletes in the city. For 12 years he’s hosted a charity bowling event benefiting Inner-City Education.
Seabrook currently ranks third all-time for games played in a Blackhawks uniform.
