Blackhawks vs. Rangers final score 2016: Scott Darling leads Chicago to 2-1 win

The Chicago Blackhawks split their season series with the New York Rangers Tuesday night after earning a 2-1 victory at Madison Square Garden.

The game winning goal came late in the second period, as Artem Anisimov capitalized on a beautiful pass right in front from Brian Campbell.

Chicago got on the board first Tuesday night, with a Trevor van Riemsdyk goal from the slot just over five minutes into the second. TVR recorded his first goal of the year, and his first tally since February.

Just three minutes after the Hawks took the lead, Rangers’ forward Jesper Fast batted the puck out of mid air to put it past Darling, tying the game at 1-1.
