Teuvo Teravainen will return to the United Center for the first time since being traded by the Chicago Blackhawks to the Carolina Hurricanes this offseason when the team’s meet Friday in Chicago.
Teravainen played a key role in the Blackhawks’ 2015 Stanley Cup run. He enters the matchup with a five-game point streak, and has tallied nine goals and 11 assists in 37 games for Carolina this season. He won’t be the only former Blackhawk in the opposing sweater as defenseman Klas Dahlbeck and forwards Joakim Nordstrom and Viktor Stalberg will also be in the lineup.
