The Chicago Blackhawks are back on the ice to face the Philadelphia Flyers for NBCSN's Rivalry Night on Wednesday. The two teams aren't exactly rivals -- liberal use of the term "rivalry" by NBCSN, ya don't say!! -- but have some history from the 2010 Stanley Cup Final.
The big event of the night will be the honoring of defenseman Kimmo Timonen, who retired this year after a midseason trade helped him win the Cup in Chicago. One of the best Flyers in recent memory, Timonen is a huge deal in Philadelphia and the franchise is celebrating his career with a ceremony prior to puck drop.
