It’s been a busy day in Blackhawks land. It was confirmed that Corey Crawford will make his return to the ice after a 10-month absence, giving Chicago a player who is much, much more than just a goaltender. To accommodate Crawford’s activation from injured reserve, forward Luke Johnson was sent to the Rockford IceHogs, making room for Brandon Saad in the lineup, ending speculation that he was going to be a healthy scratch.
