Defenseman Erik Gustafsson will return to the lineup after missing the last two games with a right knee injury when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday at United Center.
Gustafsson, 23, has seven assists in 15 games for Chicago this season. The Swedish defenseman recorded three goals and eight assists in 27 games for the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. He will skate on the left side with Michal Rozsival for the third pairing. Rob Scuderi will be a healthy scratch.
Chicago (31-13-4) will try to match a franchise record with their 11th straight victory and sweep the season series against Montreal.
