In a series of events that’s indicative of the Chicago Blackhawks luck during the 2017-18 NHL season, rookie goaltender Collin Delia went down with an injury during the third period of Thursday night’s game against the Winnipeg Jets.
But that created another problem for the Hawks. Delia was already filling in for Anton Forsberg, who was supposed to start the game but was injured just a few hours before the game.
Enter emergency goaltender Scott Foster.
With Delia down and Forsberg out, Foster took the ice just a few hours after that tweet was sent out.
