The Blackhawks granted Brendan Perlini’s wish Monday and traded him to the Red Wings in exchange for right-handed defenseman Alec Regula. Pierre LeBrun of TSN first reported the news.
Perlini recorded one shot on goal in 7:49 minutes in his only game this season back on Oct. 12 against the Jets after he re-signed with the Blackhawks on a one-year deal worth $874,125 in September.
Perlini scored 12 goals and 15 points in 46 games with Chicago last season after being acquired with Dylan Strome last Novfrom the Coyotes in exchange for Nick Schmaltz in a deal involving three former first-round picks.
