Blackhawks sign John Quenneville, Dylan Sikura to 2-year extensions

The Blackhawks signed forwards John Quenneville and Dylan Sikura to two-year extensions, the team announced Friday.

Both players were restricted free agents. The contracts are one two-way deals next season ($700,000 NHL/$250,000 AHL) and one-way deals for the 2020-21 season ($800,000).

Chicago acquired the 23-year-old Quenneville from the Devils last Saturday in exchange for forward John Hayden. Quenneville — the first cousin once removed of former Chicago head coach Joel Quenneville — had one goal in 19 NHL games last season and 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 37 AHL contests.
