The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have signed Josiah Slavin to an entry-level deal through the 2022-23 season. Now Slavin will join the Rockford IceHogs on a tryout contract considering as of now his official contract will not kick into effect until next season.
Josiah Slavin was drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NHL draft by the Blackhawks. While he probably is not the top prospect within the organization, Slavin is going to get an opportunity to prove what he is worth in Rockford.
