NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Patrick Kane scored his career best-tying 30th goal just 49 games into this season and the Blackhawks set a new franchise record for victories, beating the Nashville Predators 4-1 on Tuesday night.
The Blackhawks won their 12th consecutive game, besting their previous 11-game streak first set in the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season. They remain atop the Central Division with 68 points. The Dallas Stars, who play the Los Angeles Kings later tonight, trail the Blackhawks by five points.
Corey Crawford stopped 38 of 39 shots to record his career-best ninth consecutive victory. Kane also added an assist and Artem Anisimov scored his 16th goal of the season.
