The Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings have swapped a pair of veteran defensemen who lost their place with their old squads.
The Blackhawks have sent Rob Scuderi to the Kings in exchange for Christian Ehrhoff after both were waived earlier this season.
Scuderi, who won a Cup with the Kings in 2012, was traded earlier this season from Pittsburgh to Chicago for Trevor Daley. Scuderi has one more year on his contract next season at a $1.3-million cap hit. Pittsburgh retained $1.125 million in the Daley trade.
