The Chicago Blackhawks recalled Dennis Rasmussen and reassigned Tanner Kero in a corresponding move Monday, the team announced.
Rasmussen, 25, shares second on the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League with 14 points (seven goals and seven assists) in 22 games this season. The Vasteras, Sweden native signed a one-year contract with the Hawks in July after posting 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists) in 73 regular-season games for the IceHogs. He also posted one goal in three 2014 postseason games with the Hawks.
Kero, 23, has tallied a goal and two assists in 17 games with the Hawks this season centering the third line.
