DALLAS – Corey Crawford became the third winningest goaltender in Blackhawks history and Trevor van Riemsdyk scored the game-winner as the Blackhawks beat the Dallas Stars 5-3 on Saturday night.
The Blackhawks remain in second in the Central Division, now two points behind the Minnesota Wild. The Wild have a late game in Vancouver on Saturday.
Crawford recorded his 202nd victory to move ahead of Ed Belfour (201). Ryan Hartman scored his 12th goal of the season and Artem Anisimov had two assists.
The Stars took a 1-0 lead just eight seconds into the second period when Radek Faska’s sharp-angled shot got through Crawford.
