The Chicago Blackhawks have released Graham Knott from training camp, the team announced Thursday morning.
Knott, the team's second-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft (54th overall), skated 13:55 in Wednesday's 4-1 loss in Detroit. He saw 2:02 of time on the penalty kill and recorded one hit.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound left winger had 25 goals and 18 assists in 59 games with the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League last season. The left-handed shot previously scored eight goals and 22 points in 64 games during the 2013-14 season with Niagara.
